Phoebe's Restaurant has the ideal location for your event! We have several different areas available to host your private party. Bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, graduations, retirement socials, business luncheons and more.
Atrium Dining Room
The Atrium, our main dining room, can seat up to 60 people. The large skylight provides a bright and spacious setting and is perfect for rehearsal dinners, retirement socials, bridal or baby showers, large cocktail parties. Room Measurements~ 30 feet by 32 feet.
For baby and bridal showers we can comfortably accommodate up to 48 guests. This guest count will leave the appropriate space needed for gift tables, buffet table and cake table. For rehearsal dinners involving a buffet table, but not requiring gift tables, we can accommodate 54 guests. Or in some occassions we are able to relocate the buffet table to the Irving cafe which will allow seating for 60 guests. We require a minimum food and beverage purchase of $800 for daytime / lunch events. 8% tax and gratuity extra. Depending on availability. No room fee.
Please inquire for minimum purchase requirements for evening and weekend events. (During the summer $1,000)
Parlor Dining Room
The parlor can accommodate private parties of 15-40 people. This enclosed room is ideal for intimate gatherings, business meetings or small baby or bridal showers. This room can accommodate up to 18 people at a conference style table or can be arranged with 4 tables of 10 for a total of 40 people. For baby and bridal showers, we can comfortablly accommodate up to 30 guests. This guest count will leave the appropriate space needed for a gift table and cake table. Monday thru Friday -There is no room fee with a minimum of 15 people and/or $250 food and beverage sales for lunch/daytime events.

The café dining areas are two separate cafes, respectively located along East Genesee Street and Irving Avenue. The East Genesee Street cafe can accommodate 2 tables of 8 or 4 tables of 4. The Irving Avenue café which faces the Syracuse Stage can accommodate 5 tables of 4 or 2 tables of 10. The cafes are not private; however they are available as a requested seating area for your lunch or dinner reservation. (Or if you are having a large party that requires more than 60 seats (atrium), the cafes can add 16-36 seats.)
For larger parties, you can use the atrium dining room area, the cafes and bar area for parties up to 96 people, or go all out and use the entire restaurant!!! The entire restaurant will accommodate up to 120 people for cocktail socials featuring passed and displayed hors d’oeuvres. Phoebe's can accommodate up to 100 people for a station style setting, with seats available for 60- 70 guests. Or if you would prefer one of our lunch, brunch or dinner buffet packages, we are able to seat 75 guests.

We offer many different beverage options, each to your customization. The first tier option is a completely open bar to your guest, in this option we will run a tab of all of the alcoholic drinks that your guests order, and add them onto your final bill. Our second tier option is a limited bar, within this option we can limit the “open bar” option to whatever you would like to offer whether it be just beer and wine, or just wine and soda. The options are endless. Our third tier option is to run a tab for a certain dollar amount or a certain time frame. This option would allow your guest to have a an open bar of a certain dollar amount, such as a $300 limit or certain time framesuch as 6-8pm. Once that amount has been met, or the time has elapsed, the bar will then change to a cash bar. And our fourth tier is a cash bar, this option will allow your guests to order their preferred beverage at the bar and they will be able to pay the bartender individually. Wine by the glass; $6.50 and up, draft and bottle beer; $3.50 and up, liquor starts at $4 per drink.
We require an advanced $100 non refundable deposit for private events; this deposit will be deducted from your final bill. Once the deposit is recieved, your event / reservation is secure. Cash, check or credit card over the phone.
Unfortunately our Parlor dining room, Atrium dining room and restrooms ARE NOT handicap accessible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please understand that the age and layout of the building are not conducive for handicap accessibility.
We know that this day is special to you, so we invite you to decorate with balloons, favors, photos, flowers, candles, centerpieces etc. We kindly ask that you do not include confetti in your theme and that you remove your decorations upon departure. To create a special touch, we also offer ivory table cloths to be draped on guest tables for $5 each. Don’t worry, we will drape all cake, buffet and gift tables complementary. The table setting will include our rust colored linen napkin and candle votives. In addition to the ivory linens, we offer specialty linen table cloths and napkins in a variety of different colors however this would require a two week notification. $5 per specialty color tablecloth and a $20 fee for specialty color napkins. For private events, we undestand that you may prefer to offer a specailty cake or cup cakes etc... for the occassion. If you are looking for a bakery, we recommend our sister property The Patisserie in Skaneateles, NY for your more elaborate bakery needs. Contact 315-685-2433. Please note that a minimum food and beverage requirement must be met in order to bring in any outside desserts.

Whole home-made cheese cake ($35) and flourless chocolate cake ($45) are available for purchase with a minimum 3 day notice. Raspberry sauce $5.
Unfortunately Phoebe’s Restaurant does not have a private parking lot, however there is on street parking available in front of the building on East Genesee Street. At the rear of the building there is a Syracuse University owned and operated lot which will charge a small fee as well as a parking garage located just next to that. If you have questions regarding their hours of operation; SU parking lot 315-443-5507 main office or 315-471-1605 for the Madison Irving Garage.
At the end of your event, we will present you with the final bill which will include all food, beverages, rental items, room fees if applicable, tax and appropriate gratuity. Your advanced deposit will be deducted as well. Final payment must be made on the day of the event. We accept cash, Visa, MC, AmericanExpress, personal and business checks.
